I'm not really a SW fan (hard to believe judging from the no. of sw themed pics, no?) just that there's quite no other fantasy / sci-fi mix.
Political intrigue-wise, SW is okay until you watch B5. Now that's one nicely spun web.
Still no other Sci-fi show comes close to the "WOW" factor for an individual. Big spaceships, Mega-sized alien technology of various exotic shapes. Put any one single character there and well, it's just a person / alien to any outsider.
Now put ANY person, give him/ her a lightsaber and we've gone up a few notches on the "wow"-meter.
Haha for me, it's a quick and (lazy?) way to make the pic cooler. Still prac-ing perspective for blades and guns (urgh...really hard) and nothing decent yet.
So lightsabers it is then. *warrrnnnnggg* "May the Force be with you"
Thx! I really appreciate your support and input!
Yeah, trying to blend cell + gradient effectively. still trying haha.
With the pen tool, this pic took abt 4-5 hours. Outlines are soooo much faster / sharper / precise / easier (!!!). And I'm learning to do fold with it too.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I've also noticed that your shading isn't so much cell anymore, but more to the softer gradient feel, and I like!
